On March 22, members of the Women of FOX Sports group volunteered at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), a nonprofit hospital providing care to more than 107,000 children each year. The event came as part of CHLA's annual #MakeMarchMatter campaign, through which the hospital aims to raise $1 million in support of its programs and services. FOX Sports colleagues received a tour of the hospital and spent time with the patients by serving food and hosting arts & crafts activities.

CHLA is a longstanding business partner of FOX Sports', advertising with FOX Sports West and Prime Ticket regional sports networks as well as USC Sports Properties. The relationship offered FOX Sports colleagues the chance to become more involved in the hospital's work.

"This volunteer event with CHLA was wonderful, because it allowed us to team with one of our business partners to help promote their fundraising campaign while giving the Women of FOX Sports the chance to give back to the community," said Lagen Nash, Director of Business Operations at FOX Sports.

Launched in fall 2015, the Women of FOX Sports initiative was created to help the business's female employees connect, support, and learn from one another. The group has featured a series of events including speaker panels and mentoring, and has rallied employees to give back to the community through volunteering and donation drives.
