Leonardo Academy, Inc. The Sustainability Experts® announced today that the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has extended the deadline for Certifiers (Certification Bodies or CBs) to sign up for the ANSI Accreditation Pilot Program from March 10th, 2017 to May 10th, 2017.

Through this pilot, CBs apply to become accredited to certify agricultural productions and products according to ANSI/LEO-4000 sustainability criteria.

The U.S. Agency for International Development’s Famine Early Warning Systems Network, or FEWS NET, predicts food crises during the first half of 2017 in all of the regions it monitors — East Africa, southern Africa, West Africa, Afghanistan and Central America.
