AEG’s ASCSC Community Foundation and the LA Galaxy Foundation hosted the 13th Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Earth Day Celebration earlier today at Dignity Health Sports Park Track & Field Stadium for more than 1,000 children and families in the surrounding communities of Carson, Calif. In addition to the Easter Egg Hunt, activities also included face painting, the Wildlife Learning Center Petting Zoo, photos with the Easter Bunny, Cozmo and more.

The event precedes tonight’s match between the LA Galaxy vs. Houston Dynamo during which the LA Galaxy will celebrate the club’s Protect the Pitch sustainability initiative in conjunction with the MLS WORKS Greener Goals Week of Service.

The LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park have launched numerous sustainability efforts to reduce carbon footprint and become more sustainable through the Protect the Pitch initiative. This year, the LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park were nominated for The StadiumBusiness Awards 2019 for the Sustainability & Community Award for their efforts behind Protect the Pitch.
