In July, at the U.S. symposium, six Amgen Scholars shared what they love about science. From the power of energy to the magic of molecules, these students share their unique perspectives on what drives their research. The students featured in the video, in order of appearance, are: Corshai Williams (Virginia Union University/MIT), Cassandra Baker (University of Houston/Washington University), Elizabeth Hallett (University of Arkansas/Caltech), David Isaac Berrios (University of California, Davis/University of California, San Francisco), Rachel Elizabeth Petherbridge (Boston University/Harvard University), Ester Álvarez-Benedicto (University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras/University of California, Berkeley).
