A new study finds that consumers are thinking about consumption with sustainability in mind. According to the Regeneration Consumer Study prepared by BBMG, GlobeScan and SustainAbility, two-thirds of consumers surveyed in six countries feel responsible to purchase products that are good for the environment and society. The trend for more sustainable consumption is led by consumers in developing markets—Brazil, China, and India—who are more than twice as likely as their counterparts in developed markets – Germany, the U.K., and the U.S.—to report purchasing products because of environmental and social benefits.

The New Balance Foundation has become a Disaster Responder Partner with the American Red Cross with a donation of $250,000. The funds will aid current Hurricane Sandy relief efforts as well as future disaster recovery programs.

The Human Rights Campaign has awarded Sodexo a 100 percent rating on its annual HRC Corporate Equality Index. The company will be profiled in the HRC Best Places to Work list for the sixth consecutive year.
