(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) PITTSBURGH - March 18, 2011 - Bayer Corporation today announced the launch of the Making Science Make Sense (MSMS) Facebook page – facebook.com/BayersMSMS. The purpose of the page is to serve as a platform to raise awareness and encourage dialogue on STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) education and activities in the United States.

The page will also serve as a communications channel for STEM education news, studies and information.  It will feature news, photos and videos of Bayer’s science education initiatives, including: MSMS volunteer activities, Bayer’s Facts of Science Survey results, and Bayer USA Foundation grant announcements.

MSMS is Bayer’s national, Presidential award-winning program that advances science literacy through hands-on, inquiry-based learning.  The program, which formalized in 1995, is driven by employee volunteerism.
