CECP Excellence Awards Deadline Approaching

Apply now for CECP's 11th Annual Excellence Awards in Corporate Philanthropy! At the Corporate Philanthropy Summit in June, CECP will recognize two companies for their excellence in corporate philanthropy according to the following standards of excellence: CEO leadership, dedication to measurement, innovation, and partnership. Additionally, the Nonprofit Directors’ Award, which includes a $25,000 donation, will be awarded to a nonprofit organization for its successful partnership with a corporation.

Applications are due on December 1, 2010, by 11:59 PM EST.
Reminder: There is a ten-point deducation for late applications.

Recipient Benefits:
Winning companies and nonprofit organizations are showcased at a special ceremony during CECP's Corporate Philanthropy Summit in New York. The winning organizations are featured in a video shown at the event and on CECP's website and each winner receives an engraved crystal award. CECP will work with the communications teams at the winning organizations to secure press opportunities.

Preparing a Winning Excellence Awards Application
On October 12, CECP held a webinar for prospective applicants to CECP's Excellence Awards. In this webinar, CECP Director Margaret Coady shared tips based on past Selection Committee meetings, reviewed the award criteria, and answered questions about the applications process and about how corporate giving programs and nonprofit partnerships stand out amid a strong pool of applications.
