CITGO Petroleum and Warex Terminals Corporation Host Customer Appreciation Days in Kingston, N.Y.

KINGSTON, N.Y., Sept. 18, 2013 / 3BL Media/ PRNewswire/ -- CITGO Petroleum Corporation and local CITGO Marketer, Warex Terminals Corporation, held two Customer Appreciation Days Aug. 24 - 25 at the Caldor Plaza CITGO station in Kingston, N.Y. More than 2,500 people participated in the weekend's events, which included music, food, and giveaways. The station also offered five cents off each gallon of gas during the festivities, selling nearly 10,000 gallons in one day.

During the two days, nearly 200 applicants also received a $5 CITGO Gift Card and registered for the new CITGO Rewards™ Credit Card, which allows consumers to earn five cents-per-gallon for all fuel purchases at any CITGO station.

Miss New York 2013 and the newly crowned Miss America, Nina Davuluri, made a special appearance at the event on Sunday, Aug. 25. The partnership between CITGO and the Miss New York organization continues to be a valuable relationship that provides customers a unique opportunity to meet positive role models and fuel good in their local communities.
