The PBS(@PBS) and Adobe Foundations(@Adobe) have launched Project VoiceScape, an initiative to encourage middle and high school students to use digital media tools in creating films about issues and concerns important to them. POV, the PBS showcase for independent, non-fiction film, will oversee a national call for entries at the POV web site. Young filmmakers whose entries are chosen will receive funding, mentoring from award-winning documentary filmmakers, and streaming of their film at the POV web site.

Miron Construction(@MironConstruct) has joined the Global Leadership in Our Built Environment Alliance—GLOBE—as a partner. The GLOBE alliance is an international action network of business, industry, financial, academic, faith-based, and community organizations that share a commitment to sustainable building practices. Miron is one of 40 businesses and organizations from 17 countries that joined the GLOBE Alliance at the U.N. conference held recently in Cancun.
