NEW YORK, September 19, 2013 /3BL Media/ -- For the fifth consecutive year, Deloitte is among the top ten on Working Mother magazine's "100 Best Companies for Working Mothers" list.  The ranking recognizes organizations that set the standard for programs and initiatives in response to the challenges working mothers encounter, thereby supporting an engaged, productive workforce.

"Deloitte is honored once again to be recognized by Working Mother as an organization where work-life fit is valued and encouraged," said Jen Steinmann, chief talent officer, Deloitte LLP. "As a working mom, I particularly appreciate the benefits of a flexible work environment from both a personal and professional standpoint. Deloitte is committed to reinforcing a culture and advancing programs that support the development and growth of all of our people."

Among the many Deloitte initiatives noted were its Emerging Leaders Development Program (ELDP), designed to help prep high-performing managers for career advancement; career sponsorship training; and multiple options at the project team level that offer work flexibility while delivering high-quality services for clients. Additionally, Deloitte has invested in changing the conversation around inclusion through the recently launched Deloitte University Leadership Center for Inclusion.

"Working mothers are an important part of who we are and what we want to be – a place where everyone is valued for their contribution and feels they belong," said Deb DeHaas, chief inclusion officer, Deloitte LLP. "Deloitte's strong, ongoing commitment to the success of working mothers is demonstrated through an inclusive environment where all of our people have an opportunity to thrive."
