Approaching Carbon Reduction by Engaging Your Suppliers

(3BLMedia/theCSRfeed) Schaumburg, IL - February 18, 2010 -One of the nation’s largest retailers and one of the world’s leading makers of household cleaning products will share their perspectives on greening the supply chain during the Guiding Green Seminar Series on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from 12 – 4:30 PM at Chandler’s Chophouse, 401 N. Roselle Rd, Schaumburg, IL. Mary Tortorice, Vice President & Deputy Counsel, Sears Holdings Corporations, will present a retailer’s perspective on measuring and mitigating carbon footprint.  Sears Holdings Corporation is the 4th largest retailer in the nation and operates through its subsidiaries, including Sears, Roebuck and Co. and Kmart Corporation.  Daniel Lawson, Sustainable Innovation Manager, S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc., will present the journey in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions.  S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc. is one of the world’s leading makers of household products like Pledge®, OFF®, Mr. Muscle® and Glade® Presentations will be followed by an engaging Q&A session and networking reception.
