Liba Wenig Rubenstein Named Senior Vice President, Social Impact for 21st Century Fox

New York, NY, January 10, 2016 /3BL Media/ – 21st Century Fox today named Liba Wenig Rubenstein to the role of Senior Vice President, Social Impact.  In this newly created position, she oversees the company’s expanding social impact programs, comprising a variety of initiatives that amplify to key constituents the company’s pro-social commitments and programming.

Ms. Rubenstein manages teams in New York as well as in Los Angeles, where she is based, and reports to Julie Henderson, EVP and Chief Communications Officer.

Ms. Rubenstein joins 21CF from Tumblr, where she served as the Head of Social Impact and Public Policy since 2012. Prior to that, she was the Executive Director of the Global Energy Initiative, the environmental sustainability program at News Corporation, 21CF’s pre-split predecessor.

The company also announced that Vijay Sudan and Shira Oberlander, who launched 21CF’s social impact program in 2013, have been promoted to Vice President, Social Impact, reporting to Ms. Rubenstein.

Also reporting to Ms. Rubenstein is Tony Safford, who, as previously announced, has been named Vice President of FOX Gives, a new role in which he oversees the company’s employee engagement program for Los Angeles.
