ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y., April 29, 2016 /3BL Media/ -  The Bard MBA in Sustainability  hosts a discussion on impact investing, women’s leadership and financial literacy with Silda Wall Spitzer, Director and Principal at NewWorld Capital Group on the dial-in podcast, Sustainable Business Fridays, April 29th, at 12pm EST. 

As Director and Principal of NewWorld, she focuses primarily on business development and deal origination for both growth and infrastructure project investments and works to support the Firm’s portfolio companies. Ms. Wall Spitzer served as First Lady of New York State.  In that role, she worked to support the Administration’s goal of reducing fossil energy consumption 15% by 2015 with her initiatives promoting green buildings, alternative energy, and local food sources. Her I LIVE NY program engaged constituents to create livable communities and sustainable jobs.

Ms. Wall Spitzer is Vice Chair of the Urban Green Council, the New York Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), which advances sustainability in the urban built environment. She is also on the Advisory Board of The Sustainable Endowments Institute

Bard MBA in Sustainability hosts Sustainable Business Fridays, a live podcast series, twice monthly at 12pm EST. BARD MBA IN SUSTAINABILITY 
 
The  Bard Graduate Programs in Sustainability  offer masters programs in  Environmental Policy,  Climate Science and  Policy, and Sustainable Business.  The Bard MBA in Sustainability is a hybrid, low-residency program based in New York City.
