The inaugural Business4Better Conference, organized by UBM, will help businesses develop knowledge and relationships to partner with nonprofits in ways that impact local communities, employee engagement and overall business performance. More than 1,500 executives will flock to the Anaheim Convention Center to hear keynote speakers like Premal Shah, president of Kiva; Carol Cone, global practice chair of Edelman Business + Social Purpose; and Neil Bush, chairman of the Points of Light Institute. The conference will also feature supersessions, breakout sessions and an exhibition of 200+ nonprofits. Company executives will be able to meet and network with nonprofits to explore potential partnerships that will shift their company from the traditional "checkbook philanthropy" to meaningful community engagement.
