WASHINGTON, June 18, 2019 /3BL Media/ – PYXERA Global is pleased to announce its media partnership with GreenBiz Group for the Circularity 19 conference from June 18 to 20 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This three-day event will convene over 500 leaders to explore and capitalize on opportunities toward a circular economy. Featured speakers include Sarah Chandler of Apple Inc. and Kate Brandt of Google.

“Building the momentum around circularity and realizing the wealth of economic potential it offers will require close cooperation across the business, government, and nonprofit organizations,” says John Holm, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at PYXERA Global, who works to facilitate tri-sector collaboration within the circular economy movement.

According to GreenBiz, “circularity isn’t just another sustainability framework—it’s a radically different way of doing business.” In the face of rising pressure from consumers and investors to reduce waste and address climate risks, companies are increasingly incorporating circularity into their business practices at all stages of the value chain. The circular economy refers to an economic system that eliminates finite resource use and waste generation by redesigning and innovating the cycles of production and consumption.

Circularity 19 is the largest circular economy event in North America, featuring plenaries, breakout sessions, and a solutions-focused showcase to empower participants to identify and create profitable opportunities in this sustainable economic paradigm. Speakers will also include representatives from two of PYXERA Global’s partners, Dr. Gayle Schueller, Vice President, Sustainability and Product Stewardship and Chief Sustainability Officer at 3M, and Mary Draves, Chief Sustainability Officer and Vice President of Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S) at The Dow Chemical Company.
