WASHINGTON, January 10, 2022 /3BL Media/ - The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) announces that its annual Corporate Inclusion Index (CII) survey for 2022 opens today. The annual corporate accountability survey offers corporations a tool for measuring Hispanic inclusion its four pillars of economic reciprocity: employment, procurement, philanthropy, and governance. Last year, a record 92 companies participated from a variety of industries, including financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, technology, and consumer sectors. The survey is open to Fortune 500 companies at no cost.

The 2022 HACR CII survey period will close on April 22, and the results will be analyzed for a report to be published on September 28, during Hispanic Heritage Month. Though the results are aggregated and anonymized, companies that excel in any one of the four pillar areas will be awarded the HACR CII 5-Star Rating during the HACR 30th Annual Symposium: The Power of Hispanic Inclusion™ in Los Angeles, CA.

"The HACR Corporate Inclusion Index gives companies important insights on their progress and opportunities for greater Hispanic inclusion," said Cid Wilson, President & CEO of HACR. “The last two years have seen greater focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion due to a combination of the pandemic, social justice movements, and heightened visibility of the overall lack of representation. The HACR CII is a tool to help turn aspiration into action for greater Hispanic inclusion.”

The annual survey has been the source for comprehensive reporting and measuring on Hispanic inclusion efforts since 2009. It is among the most followed surveys of corporate accountability in the Hispanic community. The 2021 HACR CII report examined Hispanic inclusion practices in the context of a year that presented many challenges including the COVID-19 pandemic, economic challenges, and social justice movements. This year's survey offers returning participants the chance to measure progress and areas of opportunity for greater Hispanic inclusion.

The survey is open to all companies and gives newcomers a baseline assessment and a chance to demonstrate commitment to the Hispanic community. Corporations interested in learning more can take the first step with an email to research@hacr.org or by visiting www.hacr.org/cii.
