(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) October 5, 2011 - The Sanofi US Corporate Social Responsibility Internet website has been revised and is now available on the www.sanofi.us domain under the menu “Our Responsibility.” It is divided into six sections, including the company’s four key areas of CSR – Patient, People, Ethics, and Planet – and provides CSR best practice highlights.

In addition, a 2010-2011 Sanofi North American CSR brochure, in both an electronic (PDF file accessible on the Sanofi US Internet) and a paper format, provides insights about the Sanofi CSR framework and a few examples of our activities in North America. While environmental sustainability efforts trend toward electronic communications instead of printed, paper brochures are sometimes needed – for distribution at conferences, sales meetings or placement in kiosks. When it came time to print the North American CSR brochure, the decision was made to do so in the most sustainable way possible, therefore we chose to print using Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified 100 percent recycled paper. This organization promotes the responsible management of the world’s forests.   “We get many requests for the printed brochure and are pleased to share them inside and outside the company,” says John Spinnato, Vice President, North American CSR. “We needed to ensure that they were printed in an environmentally responsible way. This is something we are striving for throughout our entire organization.”   For more information about Sanofi’s global efforts in CSR, click here.   Have questions about our CSR best practices?
