(3BLMedia/theCSRfeed) New York, NY - February 7, 2011 -  Vault.com, the source for employer rankings, ratings and reconnaissance, has expanded its Corporate Social Responsibility coverage with the creation of a brand new CSR landing page.

Vault has long promoted the tenets of corporate social responsibility during a time when many believed the idea of CSR was just a fad or simply a philanthropic effort, by creating guides to green programs and environmental careers while also strengthening its focus on diversity and pro bono programs.  Vault’s own CSR senior editor Aman Singh has been an activate participant in the CSR conversation with a popular @VaultCSR Twitter Feed that boasts 2,002 followers and a blog – In Good Company – that is featured on Vault.com and is syndicated on several sites throughout the Internet.  The new CSR sub-site is an extension of this effort.    “If 2009 was the year of pause for the economy, 2010 represented an explosion of commentary and dialogue on business practices, responsible leadership and career choices that make an impact,” explained Singh as to the need for further examination of the CSR field. “How do you pursue a career that is both financially and personally rewarding? Why is it important that middle management and entry-level workers demand transparency and practice accountability at work?  These are just a couple of the many questions that have come to dominate every jobseeker, every student, and every employee’s mind in recent years.”   The new sub-site includes feature links to articles, news and advice, and blogs from a cross-section of contributors including jobseekers, students, academicians, recruiters, and corporate leaders; and offers a much more focused examination of diversity, leadership, pro bono and green programs.  The channel also offers a look into the types of careers available in CSR—as well as advice from senior leaders and corporate chiefs on how incorporate your current job with elements of sustainability and corporate social responsibility. In addition, the CSR-dedicated page provides an opportunity for users to sign up for the new Vault CSR newsletter or voice their opinion through regular polls.   “Our new section, devoted to a robust discussion on corporate social responsibility, workplace issues, diversity, women in the leadership and sustainability, provides every informed careerist with a network to learn from each other’s achievements and stay on top of how the latest news and trends in CSR and sustainability are influencing recruitment and hiring practices,” said Singh.  “Because only informed professionals can lead business and the global economy into the next century.”   Vault.com continues to expand its content via channels dedicated to various industries and career fields. Expect to see more channels launching in 2011.  View the New CSR Channel   About Vault  Vault.com is the source of employer and university rankings, ratings and reconnaissance for highly credentialed, in-demand candidates.  Vault.com is organized by profession, industry, company and schools.  Vault profiles, rankings and assessment tools deliver the insider perspective and career research candidates need to successfully match themselves to the best available job, employer and career opportunity.
