BJ’s Adopt-A-School program provides local schools with curriculum support
September 10, 2015 /3BL Media/ - BJ’s Wholesale Club today announced partnerships with 213 schools through the organization’s Adopt-A-School program. At the beginning of each school year, every BJ’s Wholesale Club and Distribution Center partners with a local school to help enhance existing programs and curriculum objectives. Since 1996, the program has contributed $1.9 million in funding to thousands of schools across BJ’s 15-state footprint.

September 2, 2015 /3BL Media/ - BJ’s Wholesale Club teamed up with General Mills in honor of the 20th anniversary of its Adopt-A-School program by awarding $10,000 grants to five public elementary schools as well as $2,500 grants to four additional schools. The schools were chosen from countless applications that shared where students see themselves in 20 years and how BJ’s & General Mills’ school support will help get them there.

The grant application asks students to share where they see themselves in 20 years and how BJ’s school support will help get them there. Five schools across BJ’s 15-state footprint will each receive a $10,000 grant.
