The employees raised enough funds to sponsor educational programming for 250 students.
Junior Achievement Rocky Mountain, Inc. will reach over 100,000 students this year, teaching them invaluable life lessons in financial literacy, career readiness and entrepreneurship at no cost thanks to corporate partners like Arrow.

April 11, 2019 /3BL Media/ Arrow Electronics and nonprofit We Care Solar won the 2019 Edison Award for Social Innovation for its joint development of Solar Suitcase 3.0, a portable and durable power system that provides sustainable energy for around-the-clock, effective obstetric care in remote and off-grid maternal health facilities around the world.
Arrow Electronics sponsored the FIRST Robotics Colorado Regional Competition, March 21-23, continuing its effort to guide the next generation of innovators forward. Held at the University of Denver, the competition drew 53 high school teams from Colorado, other western states and Mexico who showcased the robots they built over the last six weeks.
Arrow Electronics and social enterprise Close the Gap launched its third DigiTruck in August 2018. The DigiTruck is a mobile, solar-powered classroom and enterprise incubator. The new unit serves the Kenyan capital of Nairobi - one of Africa’s commercial hubs and a portal for Africa’s development in the 21st Century.
Kenya is poised to be a global success story because of its motivated youth, a dynamic private sector and improving infrastructure. But it must address gaps in modern workforce skills and technology access to unlock its potential.
