Employees at Arrow’s office in Orange County, Calif. hosted a bowling fundraiser to support American military members and their families. The 4th Annual Operation Help A Hero Bowling Event benefitted Operation Help a Hero, a nonprofit that provides resources to the military community.

Arrow Electronics Attorneys Named First Chair Awards Recipients

Arrow Electronics Employees Support Residential Center for Developmentally Disabled Children and Adults in the Philippines

Arrow Electronics Employees Score Funds for Financial Education Through Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon

DENVER, June 5, 2019 /3BL Media/ – More than 100 Arrow Electronics employees in the company’s Centennial, Colo. headquarters participated in the Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon to raise money for the nonprofit’s outreach to Colorado youth. The employees raised enough funds to sponsor educational programming for 250 students. 

Junior Achievement Rocky Mountain, Inc. will reach over 100,000 students this year, teaching them invaluable life lessons in financial literacy, career readiness and entrepreneurship at no cost thanks to corporate partners like Arrow.

More than ten years ago, a small nonprofit and a Dutch company conspired to make a difference in the lives of impoverished Africans. The nonprofit, Close the Gap, collected usable IT equipment from major corporations in Europe. The Dutch company refurbished the various devices and made them suitable for use. And ever since then, together they have been providing computers to those in need, and have deployed more than a half million computers to help bridge the digital divide.

In case you haven’t noticed, the recycling industry is in trouble. I feel fortunate that although some folks think of us as electronics recyclers, we are emphatically not in the recycling business. Our mantra is “Reuse First” and we provide data security and environmentally preferable outcomes for the assets entrusted to us by our customers.
