AOL Unveils Media Room at Ronald McDonald House® New York with Help from Kevin Jonas

AOL Partnership Allows Families Battling Cancer to Stay Connected, and Continue Educational Support While Staying in New York City Temporarily for Treatment

On Friday, October 7, 2011, young cancer patients and their families gathered at the Ronald McDonald House® New York’s newly renovated AOL Media Room with Kevin Jonas, of the multi-platinum selling, Grammy nominated artists, the Jonas Brothers, to celebrate its unveiling.
 
The AOL Media Room has been aesthetically renovated to emulate happiness and designed to accommodate the users of the room – children, those in wheelchairs, and their siblings staying at the House. A total of 15 computers were donated with each work station set up for one-on-one tutoring, and group learning scenarios for children in treatment, as well as their siblings staying at the House.
