The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) has today underlined its dedication to transparent reporting by launching its first Annual Report. The report reviews commitments, activities, and accomplishments of 400 CGF members over the last 12 months and highlights business leadership on sustainability.
It follows COP26 climate talks and the CGF’s announcement as a UN Race to Zero Accelerator to help increase progress towards net zero among its global membership.
The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) is today becoming an official “Accelerator” of the UN-backed Race to Zero campaign, to help increase progress towards net zero among its global membership.
Over the last six months, the proportion of the 57-strong CGF Board in the Race to Zero has more than doubled from 22% to 52%. The Race to Zero initiative is the largest global alliance of companies, cities, regions, financial, educational and healthcare institutions taking action to halve global emissions by 2030.
