Event held in conjunction with Major League Soccer inclusion initiative, Soccer For All and in celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month

AEG’s LA Galaxy recently donated soccer equipment to youth at the Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC) in downtown Los Angeles in celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month on May 10.
On Monday, March 29, the LA Galaxy participated in the Spring Student Food Distribution event where 350 of LA Harbor College’s most vulnerable student populations received a $75 gift card to Northgate Markets, a box of food and various LA Galaxy giveaway items. The event was held in collaboration with the Foundation for the Los Angeles Community Colleges, Northgate Markets, LA Harbor College, and the LA Harbor College Foundation.
AEG’s LA Galaxy and Herbalife Nutrition recently teamed up with A Place Called Home (APCH) to pack and distribute food for families in need at a Family Resource Depot in the greater Los Angeles area on Wednesday, May 27. In conjunction with the LA Galaxy Foundation, LA Galaxy Players Daniel Steres, Rolf Feltscher, Joe Corona, assistant coach Dominic Kinnear and Cozmo joined volunteers at A Place Called Home to pack and deliver the food.
As part of AEG’s LA Galaxy Protect the Pitch sustainability program, more than 250 LA Galaxy fans, supporters and Herbalife24 Triathlon L.A. participants traveled to Venice Beach to partake in a beach cleanup with Surfrider Foundation, a global nonprofit organization whose mission is to protect and enjoy the world’s oceans and beaches, on Saturday, June 22.
Over the course of the morning, LA Galaxy volunteers collected more than 157 pounds of trash, 32.5 pounds of recycling and more than 4,000 cigarette buds.
Earlier today, AEG’s StubHub Center Foundation and LA Galaxy Foundation hosted the 11th Annual Easter Egg Hunt for more than 1,000 children and families from surrounding communities at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.
The event took place at the StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium, where guests spent the afternoon hunting for Easter eggs with LA Galaxy II players and team mascot, Cozmo; in addition to LA Galaxy Star Squad members, the StubHub Center Street Team and the Easter Bunny, provided by Southbay Pavilion Mall.
