On December 6, 2020, AEG’s Dignity Health Sports Park partnered with the Carson Boys & Girls Club to spread holiday cheer during a drive-thru toy giveaway.  More than 1,000 children from Carson, Long Beach, Watts, Los Angeles and Rancho Dominguez received toys during the drive-thru event at Dignity Health Sports Park. On November 22, 2020, Dignity Health Sports Park partnered with Kinecta Federal Credit Union to support South Bay families in need through Kinecta’s 47th Annual Holiday Food Drive. This year’s event was done as a drive-thru to ensure everyone’s safety amid the coronavirus pandemic. The families receive bags of traditional Thanksgiving food items, including rice and stuffing mix, along with a $75 gift certificate. In total, more than 1,000 families — some selected by the community-based organizations — received bags.

During the event, LA Galaxy players and AEG staff from the LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park served complete Thanksgiving meals to 250 local children and families in need from neighboring organizations including Children’s Institute, Los Angeles Children and Family Services, The Salvation Army Red Shield, Koinonia Family Services and El Nido Family Services.
