Starbucks has opened its third profit-sharing community store in the East End community of Houston. The other two community stores are in Los Angeles and New York. A share of the profits from each store goes to specific organizations that serve the needs of the citizens in that community. In Houston, the funds will go to the Association for the Advancement of Mexican Americans, which helps disadvantaged and at-risk youth in the East End.

I tried to make sense of what the experts were saying, but thelanguage seemed to barely resemble English. So, one of my first orders of business was to learn the key acronyms of this new discipline.
