My name is Aaron McLean. I’ve worked at AT&T for 17 years as a web developer and architect. In fall 2014, our group was in need of high-quality, low-cost training and certification. While we had online training, we needed more specific certifications within our software-centric network environment. Then one day, an email was sent to us from John Donovan (our Chief Technology Officer at the time), asking us to check out Udacity.com.
Time Warner Cable is proud of its military veterans. From our Vet Net employee network to our comprehensive military leave policy for reservists and active duty, TWC celebrates the contributions these employees make to our country and our company. In fact, military veterans make up just over 8 percent of TWC’s workforce.
Time Warner Cable is committed to raising environmental awareness, using fewer natural resources and generating less waste in our business through initiatives that we collectively call "Go Green".
Additionally, TWC’s employees recognize the importance of environmental issues. They are involved in the company’s Go Green efforts through local employee Green Teams with a focus on increasing environmental awareness among employees, finding opportunities to improve operational efficiency, and promoting environmental sustainability in our communities.
