Georgia-Pacific’s partnership with relief agency Convoy of Hope is helping victims of devastating flooding in Tennessee and North Carolina. Convoy of Hope has delivered several trucks of emergency supplies, including 4-6 loads of paper towels from Georgia-Pacific as well as bottled water, hygiene kits and snack food, to those areas. They are helping with additional needs in the Northeast following Tropical Storm Henri.
In response to Hurricane Ida, GeorgiaPacific's partner, Convoy of Hope, has already deployed 19 trucks filled with life-sustaining food and relief supplies to Northern Louisiana and will begin helping the hardest hit areas as soon as it's safe to do so. Georgia-Pacific will post additional updates on disaster relief efforts as they come in.

Thomas Kicklighter, vice president and general manager of Foley Cellulose, presented a check for $9,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of North Central Florida. Afterward, Emily Ketring provided a tour of the facilities to Kicklighter and Scott Mixon, Foley public affairs manager.
New facilities in Georgia and Pennsylvania to meet demand for a more sustainable e-commerce packaging option
Georgia-Pacific is expanding its manufacturing footprint for curbside recyclable paper padded mailers to support growing demand for more sustainable shipping envelopes. The new locations in Jonestown, Pennsylvania, and McDonough, Georgia, will expand availability of the mailers in the Northeast and Southeast to customers including Amazon. Georgia-Pacific is also adding a third production line at its first mailer manufacturing site that opened in the Phoenix area in 2020.
