Fifteen Colorado volunteers from Arrow Electronics helped Habitat for Humanity Metro Denver complete an affordable home-building project this month.
Despite unseasonably snowy weather, the Arrow team performed an array of tasks at the Aria Homes development in north Denver, including interior painting, hardware installation, cleaning, and preparing the homes for inspection. The development will provide 28 multi-generational and mixed-income homes to qualified owners. Habitat for Humanity Metro Denver has served more than 1,000 families in the metro area.

CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 24, 2022 /3BL Media/ - As homeownership remains out of reach for too many families, Wells Fargo today announced an effort to support new home construction, renovation, and repair of more than 350 affordable homes across the U.S. in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity International.
After renting a home for several years, Jasmine was ready to move into a home of her own. “Because I have six kids, my credit wasn’t great. My house had mold issues, it was located in a bad area and had been broken into multiple times,” said Jasmine. She decided she wanted something better. “I was looking for something with more stability and something I can grow with.”

The Martinez Renewable Fuels facility launched its signature Hands on for Habitat program, a partnership with Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley that takes high school construction students beyond the classroom and into the world of volunteerism and real-world construction experience. The program benefits more than 100 11th and 12th graders enrolled in construction trade programs in the Mount Diablo, Martinez, and Pittsburg school districts located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
