Yet many are stuck in a pattern of disbursing only a small percentage of their assets in grants and investing the rest in traditional portfolios that don’t advance (and may even undermine) their mission.

December 17, 2013 /3BL Media/ - The Patient Capital Collaborative, an affiliate of Investors' Circle, the world's largest impact investing network, has closed an investment in Indow Windows, allowing the award-winning thermal window insert manufacturer to complete a successful $2.6 million Series A fundraising round.
(GHIF, the Fund) is a new social impact investment fund designed to provide financing to advance the development of drugs, vaccines, diagnostics and other interventions against diseases that disproportionately burden low- income countries. The Fund provides a novel opportunity to help bring about significant improvements in the treatment and prevention of disease, and in family planning, and the reduction of maternal and child mortality, along with the prospect of a net financial return for investors.
Today, 780 million individuals still live without access to clean and safe water sources. Two and a half billion people lack access to improved sanitation facilities. One billion people defecate in the open. Is that too much information?
