62 sites achieve Wildlife Habitat Council Conservation Certification

June 2016 Updates
Generation Mexico has now graduated 290 young adults from our first program, focused on retail cashiers. Graduates currently have an 80% placement rate within two weeks after graduation. Last month, we launched a second program in sales and customer service, and already have 50 students enrolled in it.
The automobile industry helps animals in an unexpected way, as General Motors hosts 4,700 acres of wildlife habitats at 46 manufacturing sites across the globe.
With the help of a partnership with the Wildlife Habitat Council, GM continues to launch certified sites that promote native wildlife and educate employees and communities about the environment. The company has obtained habitat certification at half of its manufacturing facilities around the world.
From June 4-7 Novartis scientists participate in the World Congress of Cardiology & Cardiovascular Health (WCC) in Mexico. This Congress brings together thousands of heart health professionals from around the world. One of the key topics is rheumatic heart disease (RHD).
