NortonLifeLock inspires employees to take action at home to support the planet

Earth Day began in 1970 as a way to harness the collective power of millions of people looking to protect the planet. Today, it serves as a catalyst for action and more than one billion people in 192 countries participate. The theme this year, “Restore Our Earth,” focuses on natural processes, emerging green technologies, and innovative thinking that can restore the world’s ecosystems.
In April of 2020, during the early stages of what has been a long-enduring pandemic, there were people all over the world stepping up to help out in a variety of much-needed ways. Points of Light, the world’s largest nonprofit dedicated to accelerating people-powered change, declared April to be “Global Volunteer Month” as a way of recognizing those who were supporting the most vulnerable populations during this time of extreme need.
Cyberbullying is everyone’s business and the best response is a proactive one. Our new research project Detox is a step forward in figuring out how to help children and parents navigate today’s complex digital universe.
Reflecting on Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day

Did you know that the origins of Women’s History Month in the USA only date back to 1981? International Women’s Day, also celebrated in March, was first observed in the USA in 1908, but the UN officially proclaimed it a United Nations Day for Women's Rights and International Peace in 1975.

Being multicultural has always been a reality for me, especially because of my ethnic roots: Black (African), Indian, and Caucasian (France). Due to my own family’s diversity, I did not perceive colors. However, from my youth to adulthood, I started to get more questions about what ethnic group I belonged to.
