A Call For Climate Action In Paris


Fourteen major corporations based or operating in the United States are voicing strong support for the adoption of a new global climate agreement.

The companies are endorsing a statement organized by the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions calling for negotiators at at the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Paris to adopt “a more balanced and durable multilateral framework guiding and strengthening national efforts to address climate change.”

The Interstate Reliability Project, designed to improve reliability of our transmission network, is a New England East-West Solution (NEEWS) 345-kV transmission project. The project is in an existing transmission right-of-way and covers territory in three states, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.

Infrastructure improvements through $14.85 million Utility Energy Service Contract expected to save more than $1 million each year, reduce greenhouse gas emissions

UPTON, NY — Representatives from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Brookhaven National Laboratory, National Grid, and Siemens today celebrated the completion of significant infrastructure upgrades at Brookhaven Lab designed to substantially reduce the Lab's energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions.  The work was performed under a Utility Energy Service Contract (UESC) with National Grid and Siemens, under which National Grid facilitated third-party financing in the amount of $14.85 million to implement lighting and other energy-efficiency upgrades at the Laboratory.
