IP's Mansfield Team Addresses Clothing Insecurity at Local Elementary School

MANSFIELD, La. – After learning about school uniform insecurity at the Mansfield Elementary School, Industrial Packaging’s Mansfield, Louisiana, Mill team donated 466 articles of clothing to local students in grades in pre-kindergarten through fourth grade. Team members at Mansfield believe every child deserves to attend school in decent clothing and hosted a uniform drive where employees could pick up a pink or blue tag representing a Mansfield Elementary School student to purchase clothing aligning with the school district’s uniform policy.

CHICAGO, September 30, 2021 /3BL Media/ - On September 17, 2021, International Paper, Arbor Day Foundation and the Chicago Region Trees Initiative (CRTI), planted 40 trees in Chicago’s Big Marsh Park. Once an active industrial property, Big Marsh opened as a public park in 2016 with a vision to provide a recreational opportunity that combines habitat restoration with public use. In addition, volunteers from the partners helped distribute 140 trees to community members for planting at their homes.

IP and NFWF Help Enhance Longleaf Pine Habitat Through the Longleaf Landscape Stewardship Fund

International Paper and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF), through their Forestland Stewards Partnership, awarded six grants totaling more than $1.5 million to restore, enhance and protect longleaf pine forests within the historical longleaf pine range in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas.  The grants were awarded through the Longleaf Landscape Stewardship Fund (Fund) to projects that will leverage $2.1 million in matching contributions
