This week, professional golf takes center stage in Greater Birmingham, Alabama, as fans gather for the Regions Tradition, a Major Championship on the PGA TOUR Champions sponsored by Regions Bank and benefiting area charities including Children’s of Alabama.

“You were made to do amazing things.” It’s a phrase Eric Smith, a renowned financial literacy coach, uses with young people. It’s also a message that underlies the reason behind having him and other Regions associates go out into the community and share the basics of financial education.
On April 28, the Pelham, Alabama, branch welcomed 25 students from Hueytown High School for a tour of the bank facility and a discussion about the importance of financial wellness.

With a population around 60,000, Meriden, Connecticut, is a small New England city nestled halfway between the metropolitan cities of New Haven and Hartford. Recognized as a manufacturing town dating back to the 1850s, historical Meriden area designs have been featured in museums throughout the United States and into Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. With its picturesque peaks and the winding Quinnipiac River, Meriden is a beautiful community to live in and raise a family.
With a $250,000 donation from the Regions Foundation, the Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership is helping more Black families become homeowners.
