This investment will help fund three critical work streams aimed at increasing the reach and impact of Fair Trade certification for farmers and workers worldwide.

Wildlife Rescue Team Lands New Home

Wildlife Haven in Ile-des-Chenes, MB has just signed a community land lease partnership with TransCanada to create a long-term foundation for their rehabilitation and educational programming.

A volunteer-driven, non-profit organization, Wildlife Haven has occupied various locations since it began rehabilitating injured wildlife and educating the public in 1984. For the past five years, their home has been an unused dairy barn donated by the Van Gorp family in Ile-des-Chênes.

Early Times Mint Julep and Yellow Cab are teaming up to offer vouchers for safe rides at select locations in Louisville during Kentucky Derby week.

The program is intended to keep drunken drivers off the highway.
