Sanofi Pasteur Community Engagement Team Building Benefits Local Head Start Students

On January 11, 2018, members of Sanofi Pasteur’s Global Influenza Franchise Team delivered four outdoor cabinets to Pocono Services for Families and Children (PSFC), which oversees Monroe County (Pa.) Head Start. In total, more than 30 Sanofi Pasteur employees built and hand crafted the cabinets, which will be used to store various toys and supplies for outdoor play. Sanofi Continues Adopt-a-Family Tradition for 23rd Year

Earlier this week, employees from Sanofi Pasteur got the chance to be Santa Claus to more than three-dozen area families as part of their 23rd annual “Adopt-a-Family” holiday drive.

Company employees donated gifts ranging from bicycles to clothes to new car tires that will be given to 38 Monroe County Head Start families.

The Rohingya, a stateless Muslim minority in Myanmar, are a victim of violent repression by the Burmese army.  On October 24, 2017, the UN estimated that 604,000 Rohingya refugees have fled to Bangladesh since August 25, 2017, or about 16,000 new arrivals every day.  The vast majority of these refugees are women and children, including newborns, often fleeing the deadly violence in Rakhine State in Myanmar.
