What's the news: The Un-carrier is increasing its support of families in need, donating $10,000 per home run during the World Series to help cover Little League registration fees. And, when you text “LittleLeague” to 313131, T-Mobile will donate $5 per text to support a kid in your area, up to an additional $2 million. Plus, T-Mobile is giving away five 5G smartphones every 5th inning during the series.
Why it matters: Little League is where many kids across the country first experience teamwork and learn the true meaning of sportsmanship … and thanks to these donations, thousands more will be able to play who otherwise couldn’t afford it.
