Elsewhere, students in northwest Iowa have created an app concept and are now working with MIT Media Lab to build it and Verizon will held the team launch it. Students from Spalding Catholic in Granville were recognized for developing one of the top 10 student-created app concepts in the country in the Verizon Innovative App Challenge.
