Aug 24, 2015 10:15 AM ET

As students and teachers return to school, Keep America Beautiful is ramping up its yearlong effort to increase participation in recycling by helping people across the country better understand how to recycle more and recycle right at home, at school, at work and on the go.

With registration open for two of its key fall recycling education and awareness programs – America Recycles Day (ARD) and Recycle-Bowl – Keep America Beautiful invites those planning on organizing events to join us in a webinar to learn more about celebrating ARD and Recycle-Bowl, and share fun and interactive event ideas.

Learn what’s new for ARD 2015 -- templates and downloads, best practices and featured activities for K-12, colleges and universities, and general audiences.

You'll also learn how to help facilitate a local Recycle-Bowl, Keep America Beautiful’s national K-12 school-based recycling competition, in your community. The Recycle-Bowl competition, which begins on Oct. 19 and culminates on America Recycles Day, Nov. 15, is open to public and private K-12 schools.

Presenting the webinar will be Brenda Pulley, Senior Vice President, Recycling, Keep America Beautiful, and Tyler Orton, Manager, Recycling Programs, Keep America Beautiful.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
