Thanks to the sustainable business strategies of leading organizations, there are more and more eco friendly products and services available.   Do you drink Coke? Pepsi?  Both companies are reducing water consumption, waste, and recycling  - all "behind the scenes" to the consumer.  To the non- green consumer, it's just a refreshing soda.  Who knew in that moment, they were going green?

With just under three weeks until the March 31st deadline, it’s time to stop procrastinating and time to get to work!

LEAF, the Leaders of Environmental Action Films contest, is in full swing and the entries are rolling in, but there’s still time to get your ECOmmercial filmed, edited, and submitted before the deadline passes. The longer you wait though, the harder it will be to compete for the chance at the YouTube most viewed award, and for the Facebook most Liked award, so don’t wait too long!

What Makes a Green Hotel … Green?

Blog
I was reminded of this issue when I visited yet another hotel where I found the customer notice, “Help Save Water, Help Save the World.”  Essentially, it instructed the guests to throw used towels on the floor so that not all towels need to be laundered.  Other times we are told to not request bed linen changes every day.  Neither request is a problem for me, so I accept the challenge to be a Greener tourist or business traveler.
