EPA Recognizes SC Johnson as Top User of Green Power

Company moves up on National Top 100 List

RACINE, Wis., April 25, 2018 /3BL Media/ - SC Johnson announced today that it is ranked No. 71 on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) National Top 100 List of the largest green power users from the Green Power Partnership. In January 2018, Environmental Business Journal (EBJ) recognized Tetra Tech with an award for Business Achievement: Large Firms. EBI Inc. will present the annual EBJ awards for outstanding businesses at its Environmental Industry Summit XVI in San Diego, California, on March 21, 2018. The Environmental Industry Summit is an annual three-day event hosted by EBI, Inc. and 2020 Environmental Group.

GM Named to CDP Supplier Water A List

Water management is core to making GM’s global operations more efficient. It includes working towards the goal of reducing water intensity by 15 percent by 2020, from a 2010 baseline. It also includes improving supply chain engagement in water use globally.

In the recent study by CDP, the non-profit global environmental disclosure platform, GM was awarded a position on the Supplier Water A List, in recognition of its actions to address environmental issues.

Last week the team went to the EDIE Sustainability Awards 2018.  We were proud to be a finalist for the employee engagement and behavioural change category for our Sustainable September campaign.  Unfortunately we lost out to Virgin Atlantic Airways (Congratulations to them!) but we are still very proud of the recognition and excited to continue in our progress towards our 2025 Sustainability goals as a corporation! Sharene Katsoulas,
