December 11, 2013 /3BL Media/ - Owens Corning (NYSE: OC) today announced that it received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2014 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) published by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation, a civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality. This is the 10th consecutive year Owens Corning has achieved a 100-percent CEI rating.
December 10, 2013 /3BL Media/ - The results are in from the second annual Civic 50 survey and published by Bloomberg. The Civis 50 was created to measure corporate civic engagement and to recognize top S&P companies that make socially responsible practices and community leadership part of their corporate culture. A main take away from the survey showed that increasing community engagement increases both employee satisfaction and the bottom line.
