MANILA, Oct. 9, 2012 /3BL Media/ – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) and Save the Children today announced Accenture and the Accenture Foundations have awarded Save the Children an additional grant of US$1.8 million to help the organization provide approximately 7,000 disadvantaged and at-risk young people – including nearly 5,000 young women – in Egypt, Indonesia and the Philippines with business skills that strengthen employment opportunities. The grant brings Accenture’s direct support to Save the Children to more than US$2.5 million since 2010.
Keep America Beautiful Offers Recycling Educational Resources Within A Fun Competition
(3BL Media) Stamford, CT - October 2, 2012 – Keep America Beautiful’s Recycle-Bowl competition for elementary, middle- and high-school students was created to increase school recycling participation and teach students about recycling and environmental responsibility. To be eligible for cash prizes, registration ends at midnight on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012.
All participating schools will track and report how much recyclable material they collect during the four-week competition. The competition runs from Oct. 15 through Nov. 9.

The Campaign kicks off today (Sept. 18). And, for the first time, PG&E’s top leader – who has a long history of giving — will lead the employee challenge.
