October 10, 2018 /3BL Media/ - On October 10, 2018, Tetra Tech is participating in the fourth annual Imagine a Day Without Water, a day of education and advocacy sponsored by the Value of Water Campaign.

Tetra Tech is among hundreds of organizations that are raising awareness about the importance of water in daily life and the crucial need for investment in water infrastructure to ensure that no community is left without safe and reliable water.

According to the Value of Water Campaign, USD$4.8 trillion needs to be invested over the next 20 years to ensure U.S. water infrastructure is in good repair. As Engineering News-Record’s #1 Water firm for 15 years in a row, Tetra Tech helps communities across the United States and around the world address critical water supply and water infrastructure challenges. Tetra Tech also supports water education through its year-round Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Program.

“Tetra Tech is participating in Imagine a Day Without Water because we understand that providing safe and affordable water is critical to communities worldwide,” said Jill Hudkins, Tetra Tech’s national practice leader for water programs. “To help reinforce the importance that water plays in our daily lives, we are asking our employees to submit a short statement highlighting how their life and work would be impacted without access to water. As a leader in water for more than 50 years, Tetra Tech works with its clients to find innovative water infrastructure solutions that are both cost-effective and sustainable for the future.”
