As the global pandemic continues to claim lives worldwide, two catastrophic hurricanes recently ravaged Honduras, where streets remain flooded and homes uninhabitable. During the first week of November, Category 4 Hurricane Eta pummeled 140 mph winds across the country’s north and eastern shores, also striking Guatemala and Nicaragua. Less than two weeks later, Category 5 Hurricane Iota doubled the blow.

This year’s annual U.S. Pro Bono Summit Corporate Day moved to the digital space, where leaders from across sectors gathered to reflect on the challenges of 2020 and the ways in which pro bono can help in response. Taylor, MI Veteran Chosen for Full Roof Replacement After Losing His Job

A Taylor, MI veteran remains thankful after more than a dozen people chipped in to replace his entire roof and fully upgrade his house to city code.

Fraser-based Premier Roofing and Renovations did the work for free on the home of Army veteran Brian Reaume as part of the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project.

Owens Corning began the project in 2016 to “show gratitude” to veterans by upgrading roofs of those in need.
