Global CSR and Sustainability Policies are Personal, Too

After a year of major global progress on the Big Issues (carbon emissions control, renewable power sourcing, water and energy use reduction), the CSR and sustainability community deserves to savor a job well done. But those of us who spend our working hours in an office should remember that the “little things” can add up to big changes, too. An Energy Collective blog, ‘Ten Cost-Effective Ways to Make Your Business More Eco-Friendly,” reminds us that we can align small daily practices in the workplace with large global efforts. Going paperless, changing to LED light bulbs, monitoring office temperatures —these and other eco-aware choices will go a long way to making our planet a healthier place in which to live and work.
