The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) has released its 2010 Sustainability Report.

Highlights for 2010 include:

  • Maintaining position as one of the ‘World’s 50 Safest Banks’

  • Receiving emeafinance, Best CSR Programme in the Middle East

  • Exceeding water conservation goals by 12%, reaching 22% reduction in consumption

  • Exceeding targets for employment of Nationals - reaching 39% of all employees

  • Engaging with suppliers on their own labour practices and policies

  • Launching a socially conscious fund

  • Creation of an internal Sustainability Stakeholder Group

The 2010 Sustainability Report details the Bank’s contributions toward 10 of the objectives of the Vision and how it intends to continuously improve on these.
